MARMOT BASIN - The center of the National park!

Marmot Basin lies up the majestic ice highway from Banff and Lake Louise. With glaciers running straight to the roadside the scenery on the way to Marmot is worth the journey in itself.

Once you get to Marmot Basin, Jasper, you’ll find 900 meters of vertical, incredible views of the National Park and epic snow.

Accommodation is located in the mountain town of Jasper which has a huge range of options from The Fairmont Jasper Park lodge where you can get a beautiful cabin amongst the trees, to the comfortable Lobstick Lodge in the center of town.  Marmot is certainly worth the effort to get there.
